Alloy Wheel Refurbishment Process
1. Alloys & Tyres Removed
Removal of all wheels that are being refurbished from the vehicle.
2. Safety Check
Each alloy will be checked for buckles or cracks and each tyre will be checked for tread depth and damage.
3. Deep Clean
Alloys will then either be sand blasted and aqua blasted to remove old coatings and achieve a smooth finish.
4. Repair if required
If necessary any repair to the alloy is then carried out.
6. Quality Control
Each wheel is inspected.
5. Powder Coating
All wheels are then coated in a layer of primer and baked in an industrial oven at 180 degrees. Once primed, each alloy is then powder coated in the colour selected by the customer and cured in the oven once again. Once the alloys are coated they will then be clear coated to achieve the perfect finish.
7. Wheels Refitted
The tyres are re-fitted to the alloys, balance checks and tyre pressure checks are carried out before we re-fit the wheels to the vehicle.
